POSTPONED - Town Council Special Meeting

The Title 6 workshop is being postponed.

The Town Council agreed to hold the Public Hearing on the Title 6 amendments on two conditions: 1)The public can be present and 2) All Council members felt safe with the in-person meeting.

Recent information coming from York Hospital indicates an uptick in York County COVID cases in the last week. Given this information, Council members no longer feel the second condition is achieved. With that in mind, the Council is postponing the public hearing.

At the Sept. 14 Council meeting, the Town Council will have an agenda item to discuss next steps for the proposed Title 6 amendments. Title 6 amendments cannot be adopted without holding a Public Hearing, per Town Charter.  A new date for the Public Hearing is uncertain at this point.
