Getting Registered to Vote in Kittery is Easy - Here's How!

Are you registered to vote in Kittery?  If not, it’s the perfect time to get registered so you’re ready to head to the polls for the next election.

Getting registered to vote is easy! Choose the option below that works best for you:

  • Register in person by visiting the Customer Service Center at Town Hall, located at 200 Rogers Road in Kittery between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.
  • Complete the Maine Voter Registration Application online by clicking here.  The completed form can be mailed or delivered to the Town Clerk's Office at Town Hall, located at 200 Rogers Road, Kittery, ME 03904.

The Town Clerk’s office would also like to remind voters that it is necessary to update your voter registration card if you:

  • Move or change your address.
  • Have an updated address due to 9-1-1 changes.
  • Change your name.
    • When updating a voter registration card due to a name change, you must include a certified copy citing the change through Marriage, Death or Legal Name change through a court system.
  • Wish to change your party.

To make changes to your voter registration card, you can:

  • Make changes in-person by visiting the Customer Service Center at Town Hall, located at 200 Rogers Road in Kittery between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.
  • Complete a new card by clicking here. The completed form can be mailed or delivered to the Town Clerk's Office at Town Hall, located at 200 Rogers Road, Kittery, ME 03904.

Proof of residency is required whether you're registering in person, or by mailing or dropping off a new voter registration card.  Proof of residency can include a tax bill, utility bill, bank statement or lease/deed documentation. If you have questions about getting registered to vote, please contact Town Clerk Karen Estee at 207-475-1313 or kestee@kitteryme.org.
