Absentee Ballots - Now Available for the November 8, 2022 Election

Absentee Ballots Available

Absentee Ballots are now available for the November 8, 2022 Town Council and School Committee Election and State General Election.  Voters can request an absentee ballot until 6:00 PM on November 3, 2022.

  • To request an absentee ballot by phone, please call the Town Clerk’s Office at 475-1313 or 475-1312.
  • To request an absentee ballot online, please complete the form found here.
    • Once completed, the form can be sent via email to Jillian Richards at jrichards@kitteryme.org or mailed to the Town Clerk’s Office at 200 Rogers Road, Kittery, ME 03904.
  • To request an absentee ballot in-person, please visit the Customer Service Center at Town Hall, Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

Completed absentee ballots may be returned using the secure drop box outside of Town Hall, located at 200 Rogers Road, or by mail, until 6:00 PM on Monday, November 7, 2022.  After the close of business on Monday, all absentee ballots must be returned directly to the polls on Election Day.  The recommended postage for ballots returned by mail is $0.81.

Election Day will take place on November 8, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Kittery Community Center Gymnasium located at 120 Rogers Road, Kittery, ME 03904.
