Absentee Ballot Applications Now Available for the June 14, 2022 Election

Absentee Voting Information
The Town of Kittery is now accepting absentee ballot applications for the June 14, 2022 Town Meeting, School Budget Validation Referendum and State Primary Election. Voters can request an absentee ballot until 6:00 PM on June 9, 2022.
 
  • To request an absentee ballot by phone, please call the Town Clerk’s office at 207-475-1312 or 207-475-1313.
  • To request an absentee ballot online, please visit the Maine.gov Absentee Ballot Request portal found here.  Voters who prefer to download the fillable PDF form can do so by clicking here.
    • Once the PDF form is completed, it can emailed to kestee@kitteryme.org or mailed to Town Hall at 200 Rogers Road, Kittery, ME 03904.
  • To request an absentee ballot in-person, please visit the Customer Service Center at Town Hall, Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
Please note that absentee ballots are not available at this time.  As soon as the Town Clerk receives absentee ballots, they will be mailed out to those who have filed an application, and a notice will be posted online and at Town Hall announcing that they have arrived.
 
Redistricting Information
The State recently completed its redistricting of Maine. To look-up your district, or find out if your district has changed, please use the Maine Voter Information Lookup Service located here.
 
Party Change Information
Voters must be enrolled in a party in order to receive that party’s ballot in the Primary Election.  Unenrolled voters who remain unenrolled will only receive the local ballots.
 
  • Unenrolled voters may enroll in a party and vote in the Primary at any time, including Election Day.
  • Voters intending to change their party must do so prior to May 27, 2022 in order to receive that party’s Primary ballot.
If you are unsure of your current party affiliation, please contact the Town Clerk’s office.
 
Election Information
The election will be held on June 14, 2022 from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM at the Kittery Community Center Gymnasium located at 120 Rogers Road, Kittery, ME 03904.
