Winter Weather Information - KRRF, KCC & RPL Will Be Closed on Saturday, March 4, 2023

Due to anticipated snowfall, the Resource Recovery Facility will be closed tomorrow, Saturday, March 4, 2023 to assist with snow operations. 

The Kittery Community Center and Rice Public Library will also be closed tomorrow, Saturday, March 4, 2023 due to the weather.

The Town of Kittery would like to remind residents that the winter parking ban is in effect.  Per Kittery Town Code Chapter 10.3.1.6, no vehicle should be parked on any Town way between the hours of midnight - 6:00 AM, regardless of weather conditions.  Violations of the parking ban could result in a fine and the vehicle being towed at the owner’s expense. 

For those that must travel during the storm, please remember to clear the snow from vehicles before getting on the road, take it slow and leave plenty of room for plows and public safety vehicles.
