Winter Weather Information - KRRF Closed - Tuesday, February 28, 2023

Due to accumulated snowfall, the Resource Recovery Facility will be closed today, Tuesday, February 28, 2023 to assist with snow operations. 

The Town of Kittery would like to remind residents that the winter parking ban is in effect.  Per Kittery Town Code Chapter 10.3.1.6, no vehicle should be parked on any Town way between the hours of midnight - 6:00 AM, regardless of weather conditions.  Violations of the parking ban could result in a fine and the vehicle being towed at the owner’s expense. 

For those that must travel during the storm, please remember to clear the snow from vehicles before getting on the road, take it slow and leave plenty of room for plows and public safety vehicles.
