Winter Storm Information - January 19, 2023

Due to the anticipated snowfall heading our way Thursday evening into Friday, the Town of Kittery would like to remind residents that the winter parking ban is in effect.  Per Kittery Town Code Chapter 10.3.1.6, no vehicle should be parked on any Town way between the hours of midnight - 6:00 AM, regardless of weather conditions.  Violations of the parking ban could result in a fine and the vehicle being towed at the owner’s expense. 

The Town of Kittery will determine whether an on-street parking ban is needed, based on the weather conditions tomorrow, Friday, January 20, 2023.  If staff is needed for plowing operations, the Kittery Resource Recovery Facility may be closed tomorrow, Friday, January 20, 2023.  Additional updates will be posted here on the Town of Kittery website.

For those that must travel during the storm, please remember to clear the snow from vehicles before getting on the road, take it slow and leave plenty of room for plows and public safety vehicles.
