Road Work on Route 1 & Walker Street - Tuesday, July 30, 2019 (Date Correction)

Update - This post has been corrected. The date of the road work is July 30, 2019.
The Kittery Public Works Department, Highway Division will be conducting road work/paving maintenance around the railroad tracks near Route 1 and Walker Street in Kittery, tomorrow. The road work is expected to last from 2:00 AM through the afternoon on Tuesday, July 30, 2019. If traveling in this area, please expect traffic delays and plan travel accordingly.
Equipment operation and construction within the confines of roadways is very difficult and safety is always a concern. Please be sure to drive slowly and carefully through the work area to insure the safety of other drivers, as well as our staff.
