We are pleased to offer Kittery residents the opportunity to participate in “KEEP” – Kittery E-Z Extended Payments program for payment of annual property taxes.

KEEP provides an opportunity for property owners to budget their property tax obligation on a monthly basis along with their household or business expenses.  There are no fees involved, and you can rest assured that there will not be a large expense showing up in your mailbox three times each year!

Here’s how it works:

• Beginning in July, property taxes are paid in 11 monthly installments, with the first 10 being a fixed amount.  The final installment (#11) will be adjusted up or down depending upon the remaining taxes due.
• Payments are due by the 15th of each month.
• KEEP is available only to those taxpayers who are current on their tax obligations.
• The deadline for submitting your KEEP application is June 1.  You may download and complete the application and return via mail or email to the addresses below, or call Jan for more details or if you have any questions.  Join other property owners and K*E*E*P your life simple!
