Preliminary Assessed Value Notices Kittery

In accordance with standards set forth by the State of Maine, the Kittery Assessor has completed a reassessment of all properties in Kittery, in order to equalize property assessments at fair market value as of April 1, 2020.   

The 2020 Preliminary Assessed Values were developed by market analysis covering two years of property sales with the Town of Kittery.  Letters containing the Preliminary Assessed Values will be mailed out to property owners the week of July 20, 2020.  

Valuation books will be available for public viewing in the Planning and Development Office at Town Hall, and online by clicking here. The Planning and Development Office is open by appointment only at this time.  To schedule an appointment to review the valuation books, please contact 207-475-1304 or cbacon@kitteryme.org.

If you have questions, or feel the 2020 Preliminary Assessed Value does not accurately reflect market value as of April 1, you may contact an MRI staff member to schedule an informal review of your assessment.
