Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Training - Wednesday, September 27 & Thursday, September 28

The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard will be conducting two routine security response trainings this week:
 
  • Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from approximately 9:00 - 12:00 PM
  • Thursday, September 28, 2023 from approximately 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

The trainings will occur in multiple locations, including in the Piscataqua River adjacent to the shipyard’s shoreline. This is not in response to any specific threat, but is regularly scheduled training.

Due to the location of the training exercises, members of the public may hear noise or see security personnel, including U.S. Navy harbor patrol boats, responding to the training event.
