Portsmouth Naval Shipyard - Training Exercise Beginning February 3, 2020

The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, along with Navy installations across the country will be participating in an annual force protection exercise, Monday, February 3, 2020 - Friday, February 14, 2020.  This exercise is not in response to any specific threat, but is a regularly scheduled exercise.

Measures have been taken to minimize disruptions within the community and to normal base operations, but there may be times when the exercise causes increased traffic around the base or delays base access.  Those in the immediate area may also see or hear activities associated with the exercise.
