National Night Out Kittery

On Tuesday August 7, 2018 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, at the Kittery Community Center located at 120 Rogers Road, the Town of Kittery will join communities nationwide for the annual National Night Out.  This event is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch and the Kittery Police Department and involves 16,500 communities from all 50 states, territories, Canadian provinces and military bases around the world.

National Night Out is designed to shine a spotlight on crime prevention, safety and strengthen community spirit along with police and community partnerships.

The Kittery Police Department will be hosting numerous agencies, from Kittery and surrounding towns including the Kittery Fire Department, military and police units from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, the Eliot Police Department, York County Emergency Management and Maine State Police Fish and Game. 

There will be free hotdogs, drinks and other snacks available throughout the event, as well as a car seat check and information station.  Don't miss the free concert featuring the “Soul Mate” band, a local group that performs classic Motown, funk, R&B and soul in a high energy performance that will get you moving.
