The Kittery Water District will hold an election to elect 2 trustees on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM at the Kittery Community Center, located at 120 Rogers Road.

All residents of Kittery and Kittery Point are eligible to vote in the election.  All Eliot and York customers and non-customers residing in the District territory will be eligible to vote.  Determination of eligibility for Eliot & York is by street address.  To find out if you’re eligible to vote, please click here.

Voters will be required to show proof of identity and residency by providing a valid state issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license or State ID) that includes your address.  To provide proof of residency, voters can also provide a current utility bill, vehicle registration, bank statement, lease agreement or pay stub.

Voting by absentee ballot will be available from Monday, August 29, 2022 through September 17, 2022.  Absentee ballots must be obtained in-person, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM at the Kittery Water District Office, located at 17 State Road in Kittery.  Voters must be present to be issued an absentee ballot.  Proof of eligibility outlined above will be required when requesting an absentee ballot.
