Boards/Committees Seeking Members, Alternates or Applicants for their Membership Pool

Board of Appeals - Meets on an as-needed basis.
  • 1 member
Board of Assessment Review – Meets on an as-needed basis.
  • 1 member
Climate Adaptation - Meets once per month.
  • 1 vacancy (business owner)
Conservation Commission - Meets twice per month.
  • 1 member, 1 associate
Economic Development Committee - Meets once per month.
  • 1 vacancy (business rep)
Educational Scholarship Committee – Meets on an as-needed basis.
  • 2 members
Land Issues Committee – Meets once per month.
  • 1 member
Parks Commission - Meets once per month
  • 1 member, 2 associates
Planning Board - Meets twice per month
  • Seeking applicants for the pool
Shellfish Conservation Committee - Meets on an as-needed basis.
  • 2 alternates

How Often Do Boards Meet?

  • Some boards and committees meet once a month, while others meet more frequently.   
  • Participation in meetings can be done in-person or remotely via Zoom.

The Board I Want to Join Is Full, Can I Still Apply?

Absolutely! Board and committee vacancies occur throughout the year for a variety of reasons. If your preferred board or committee is full right now, you can still be added to the applicant pool to be contacted when the next vacancy arises.
