Invitation for Bids - Surplus Marine Equipment and Boat

The Town of Kittery (Town) is accepting sealed bids (IFB) for the sale of surplus marine equipment and a boat as specified in the attached bid document. The marine equipment and boat are being sold individually and will be sold in “as is” condition. Per the Town’s Disposal of Property Ordinance (3.2.10) the Town must seek competitive bids for the surplus of property.

The float may be viewed at the Traip Academy Boat Ramp, located at 12 Williams Avenue in Kittery, Maine. The float is presently in the water. A picture of the float and other items are included in this IFB.

Sealed bids will be received by the Town Manager's office, located at 200 Rogers Road, Kittery, ME 03904 until 1:00 PM on April 16, 2019, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. No facsimiles or emailed bids will be accepted.  Bids received prior to the time established for the opening will be securely kept and unopened. No responsibility will be attached to the Town for the premature opening of a bid not properly marked or identified.
