Highway 236/Dennett Road Hydrologic Watershed Study to Begin - November 2, 2022

The Town of Kittery is excited to begin its Highway 236/Dennett Road Hydrologic Watershed Study.  Members of the project team, including the Town’s consultants, will be conducting initial field activities associated with wetland reconnaissance on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 and Friday, November 4, 2022, in the area between Dennett Road, I-95, Highway 236 and Martin Road.

During this time, the public may see field personnel walking around identifying the boundaries of the wetlands through plant classification.  Field personnel may also be using handheld tools to take soil samples and perform geolocation work.  The project team will not be disrupting personal property but may need to access personal property for a short time to collect this data.
