Freebie Barn Community Swap at the KCC - Sunday, January 29, 2023

The Town of Kittery will host the first Freebie Barn Community Swap this Sunday, January 29, 2023.  The Community Swap will take place from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Kittery Community Center Gymnasium, located at 120 Rogers Road in Kittery.  The Community Swap is open to the public and does not require a Kittery Resource Recovery Sticker.

During the Community Swap, the public is welcome to donate, peruse and take home items that fit within the Freebie Barn’s monthly theme. The items being collected for the month of January are toys, games, winter sports equipment, winter clothing and winter coats. 

• Monthly themed items can be dropped off at the Community Swap from 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM.
• Items can be perused and taken home at the Community Swap from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Any donated items remaining at the end of the Community Swap will be transferred to our community partners who specialize in the reuse, repurpose or recycling of specific items.  This approach will help ensure the Freebie Barn has circulating stock and that items quickly get into the right hands to be reused or recycled.
