Emery Field Park Renovation - Phase 2 Construction to Begin Monday, November 21, 2022

Construction for Phase 2 of the Emery Field Park Renovation will begin on Monday, November 21, 2022.  

Construction will kick-off with the installation of fencing around the project area and continue through the spring to include the installation of basketball and pickleball courts, walkways and erosion control, as well as demolition, relocation of underground utilities, and site improvements.

The playground will be the last component to be constructed and installed.  The playground installation is expected to take place during next years’ construction season.  Additional updates on the playground will be provided as soon as they’re available.

During construction, access to the parking lot located at 2 Cole Street will be closed to the public.  Access to the field will be available via the gates on Woodlawn Avenue.  As safety of the public is always a priority, visitors to the field are asked to stay outside of the posted work areas and away from equipment during the construction period.
