Drug Take Back Day - Saturday, April 28

National Drug Take Back Day is happening next Saturday, April 28th.

It's an unfortunate fact that unused or expired prescription medications can be a public safety issue.  Pharmaceutical drugs can be just as dangerous as other street drugs when taken without a prescription or a doctor's supervision.  Unused prescription drugs thrown in the trash can be retrieved and abused or illegally sold.  Take back programs like National Drug Take Back Day, are a safe and anonymous way to dispose of old drugs, and you can participate right here in Kittery.
