Dog Licenses for 2022 - Now Available at Town Hall

Dog License Renewal Kittery

This year, the Town of Kittery's pup-helper Luna wants to send an extra-early reminder to get your four-legged friends ready for the New Year by getting dog licenses renewed prior to the December 31, 2021 expiration date.

The Town of Kittery makes renewing your pet’s license easy with contact free options:

  • Renew online by clicking here.
  • Renew by mail by providing a rabies certificate and neutering/spayed certificate, along with a self-addressed stamped envelope and a check made out to the Town of Kittery with the corresponding fee for your dog(s).
    • License requests should be addressed to: Town Clerk200 Rogers Road Kittery, ME 03904.

Dog licenses can also be renewed by visiting the Town Hall Customer Service Center, Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

Residents who need vet care or rabies for their animals are encouraged to make their appointments now for 2022 licensing due to vet shortages and lack of remote clinics and resources available.
