Assessor's Office Conducting Business Personal Property Inspections - Beginning July 11, 2022

Representatives of Real Estate Research Consultants, Inc (RRC), have been contracted by the Town of Kittery to perform annual inspections of all new business personal property, and a cyclical review of approximately 25% of businesses in Town as of April 1, 2022.

Inspections will take place between July 11, 2022 and August 1, 2022.  As part of the inspection process, businesses will be required to list all taxable personal property in accordance with M.R.S. 36 § 601.  The representatives completing the inspections will carry proper identification.

The Assessor's Office appreciates your cooperation in providing representatives access to your property and the information necessary to complete the inspections.
