Kittery Resource Recovery Facility Recycling Equipment - IFB

The intent and purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish price agreements (labor and materials inclusive) for purchase and installation of two (2) stationary compactors, two (2) 40 cubic yard containers, two (2) hoppers, one (1) sort system control panel, one (1) can sort magnetic separator, one (1) can sort line conveyor, two (2) can sort line incline slider belt conveyor, one (1) can sort slider belt conveyor, one (1) glass system slider belt conveyor, and one (1) glass hammer mill. The equipment is to be installed at the Kittery Resource Recovery Facility, located at 1 Mackenzie Lane, Kittery Maine.

Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bidder’s name and “KRRF Recycling Equipment” on the outside.  Each bid shall be delivered to the place specified below and no later than the time specified:

Sealed bids will be received by the Town Manager’s Office, located at 200 Rogers Road, Kittery, ME 03904 until 10:00 AM on November 10, 2020.

Unless otherwise specified, questions pertaining to general information regarding the IFB and/or interpretation of specifications during the bidding period shall be addressed in writing to the following. No questions will be answered in-person or via telephone. Site visits may be scheduled at the convenience of the Town, during normal business hours. Unscheduled site visits will be not allowed.
