Construction Management Services - Rice Library Renovation and Expansion

The intent and purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to establish a contract agreement for construction management services and for a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for the renovation and construction of an expansion of the Rice Public Library building located at 8 Wentworth Street in Kittery, Maine. The resulting library building should support the delivery of library services for the next 30 years and meet the program needs established by the Library and the town.

The design team is led by Scott Simons Architects with primary support from Lassel Architects (SSA Team). The team also includes engineers and other consultants. A full list of the team, schematic design drawings, renderings, geotechnical reports, preliminary costs estimates and a preliminary master schedule are available on the Town’s website, via the registration link for Request for Proposal.

There will be a mandatory pre‐proposal conference at the Rice Public Library, 8 Wentworth Street, Kittery, ME on Monday, January 6 at 10AM. Proposals will not be accepted from firms who do not attend the mandatory pre‐proposal meeting. It is requested that each company limit team attendance to (3) three people, due to space constraints.
