Mailing Tax & Sewer Bill and Paying by Credit Cards

Q. Why is my payment being sent to Vermont?
A. The Town of Kittery uses the Vermont address below for electronic processing by our bank's lockbox service. Tax and sewer payments mailed with the bill payment stub get processed the same day they are received.  The electronic system scans both the payment stub, along with the check in order to process it.  Checks sent without the payment stub cannot be processed electronically by our lockbox service.
