Winter Storm Closures & Safety Information - February 25, 2022

Please note the following parking ban and closure information for the Town of Kittery due to anticipated snowfall:

Parking Ban Information:

The Town of Kittery has instituted an on-street parking ban per Kittery Town Code Chapter 10.3.1.6 from 6:00 AM - midnight on Friday, February 25, 2022.

The municipal lot located in the Foreside, as well as the Taylor Building lot will be available for parking.  Please see the map below to view the lots available for parking.

Closures:

• The Kittery Resource Recovery Facility will be closed Friday, February 25, 2022 due to plowing operations.  The Kittery Resource Recovery Facility will reopen for regular business hours, Saturday, February 26, 2022.
• The Kittery Community Center will be closed Friday, February 25, 2022.
• The Rice Public Library will be closed on Friday, February 25, 2022.

Helpful Information:

For those that must travel during the storm, please remember to clear the snow from vehicles before getting on the road, take it slow and leave plenty of room for plows and public safety vehicles.
