Weed Control on Pavement & Sidewalks - Beginning in April

As part of the Town of Kittery's program to control vegetation emerging from pavements and sidewalks, the Town's licensed contractor will be completing spot crack and crevice organic herbicide applications this spring. 

An organically certified herbicide called Finalsan Herbicidal Soap will be applied to weeds beginning in April, with secondary applications completed as needed through September.  Target areas include municipal sidewalks, walkways and parking lots. The Town will also be completing pavement crack and crevice filling and hand-removal of taller weeds.
