Thunderstorm Warning This Afternoon - July 17, 2018

A thunderstorm with a short period of high winds and heavy rain is expected to move into York County beginning early this afternoon.

Residents and businesses are encouraged to secure all loose items in yards and driveways for the duration of the storm.  Watercraft and floats should also be secured in anticipation of rough water. 

If you encounter downed tree limbs in roadways, please contact the Kittery Police Department at 207-439-1638.  Do not attempt to move or touch any downed wires, as they may be an electrical shock hazard.
