Freebie Barn Community Swap & Bike Repair Workshop - Sunday, April 30, 2023

Freebie Barn Community Swap April 30 2023

The Town of Kittery will host the next Freebie Barn Community Swap on Sunday, April 30, 2023.  The Community Swap will take place from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Kittery Community Center Gymnasium, located at 120 Rogers Road in Kittery.  The Community Swap is open to the public and does not require a Kittery Resource Recovery Sticker.  The items being collected for the month of April are: bikes and bike accessories.

  • Monthly themed items can be dropped off at the Community Swap from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM.
  • Items can be perused and taken home at the Community Swap from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Any donated items remaining at the end of the Community Swap will be transferred to our community partner,  Apex Youth Connection. Apex Youth Connection connects Maine youth with their communities to ensure they have the personal skills and connections to support their transition to healthy, happy, productive adulthood.

As an exciting addition to the April 30th Community Swap, Apex Youth Connection will host a Bike Repair Workshop which will begin at 9:30 AM.  At the conclusion of the workshop, Apex will be on-hand to provide one on one bike repair and advice until the end of the event (12:00 PM).  If you’ve got a bike that needs some TLC, bring it over to the Community Swap and get it ready for the spring and summer!
