Building Demolition 45 Woodlawn Avenue - IFB
The Town of Kittery seeks a contractor to demolish and dispose of an abandoned concrete/cinderblock building at 45 Woodlawn Avenue. The building was formerly used as the Town’s recreation center.
The building has had a Phase 1 and Phase 2 Brownfields assessment and does contain typical hazardous materials associated with buildings of this age and type.
Demolition will need to be conducted in accordance with federal and state regulations regarding containment and care of hazardous materials, transport of hazardous materials, and disposal of hazardous materials.
The area where the building occupied must be filled and compacted in accordance with the Town’s requirements.
Each proposal shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the Consultant’s name and “Building Demolition – 45 Woodlawn Avenue” on the outside. Electronic submission (i.e., via email) will not be accepted.
