Engaging the TAP, provides the opportunity to gain insight from workforce housing experts in an effort to develop a toolkit of strategies, policies, actions and best practices that can identify and support workforce housing. The toolkit can promote the adoption of innovative and impactful development, public policies, building design, and project funding to overcome critical barriers to affordable workforce housing. In addition to the toolkit, providing mixed-use development and expanded housing options can reduce traffic congestion and support multi-modal travel options that are evolving in the area.
ULI members Jamie Simchik, Principal, Simchick Planning & Development and Susan Connelly, Chief Operating Officer, Housing Opportunities Unlimited are serving as TAP co-chairs.
