NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
KITTERY TOWN COUNCIL
June 28, 2021 – 6:00 PM
Town Hall - Council Chambers

The public may submit public comments for the DISCUSSION agenda item via email, US Mail, or by dropping written comments in the Drop Box outside the Town Hall entrance.  Emailed comments should be sent to TownComments@kitteryme.org.

The public may also participate in the meeting via Zoom webinar. Register in advance for the webinar at:

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. Webinar participants will be able to submit questions and comments during a public hearing.
 
Comments received by noon on the day of the meeting will be posted online with the agenda, and may be read into the record by the Council Chair.

The Kittery Town Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 28, 2021 at 6:00 PM at the Kittery Town Hall Council Chambers to consider the following:

  • Title 5 & 16 Amendments to the Kittery Town Code—Pursuant to M.R.S.A Title 30-A, Chapter 187, §4352 and §1.1.10 Amendments to Code and §16.1.9 Amendments of the Kittery Town Code, the Town Council shall hold a public hearing to amend Title 5 Business Licenses and Regulations and Title 16 Land Use and Development Code by respectively adding new regulations and requirements for licensing marijuana businesses and medical marijuana registered caregiver home establishments, removing and adding new definitions related to marijuana uses, designating areas of operation for marijuana businesses within certain zoning districts, and establishing performance standards for marijuana businesses and medical marijuana registered caregiver home establishments, or taking any other action relative thereto.
