National Drug Take Back Day - Saturday, April 24, 2021

Drug Take Back Day Kittery

Too often, unused prescription drugs find their way into the wrong hands.  Pharmaceutical drugs can be just as dangerous as other street drugs when taken without a prescription or a doctor's supervision.  National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is a great way to help prevent drug addiction by cleaning out medicine cabinets and safely turning in unused or expired prescriptions.

Unused or expired drugs can be brought to the Kittery Police Department on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.  Controlled, non-controlled, and over the counter medications will be accepted. Intra-venous solutions, injectibles, and syringes CANNOT be accepted.

The Kittery Police Department also makes it easy to dispose of expired or unwanted drugs throughout the year.  Visit the Kittery Police Department lobby to use the drop-off box 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (no sharps or liquids accepted).
