Reminder - If you're a small business/non-profit looking to apply for the Maine Economic Recovery Grant Program, applications are due by 11:59 PM today, Wednesday, September 9, 2020.

Kittery’s small businesses have been hit hard by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Now, there is a new program aimed to help struggling small businesses attempt to recover from the economic downturn. 

The state of Maine has announced the Maine Economic Recovery Grant Program, providing financial relief to small businesses and nonprofits in Maine. Businesses with 50 employees or fewer are eligible to apply. 

The application deadline is September 9, 2020.

Town staff is available to provide local businesses with application assistance for the state’s grant program.
