Halloween Safety Guidelines & Halloween Movie Night at the KCC

Safety Guidelines for Halloween 2020

This year, please help keep Kittery safe and avoid high risk activities that can contribute to community spread of COVID-19 this Halloween.

The Center for Disease Control has classified traditional door-to-door trick or treating as a high risk activity.  The CDC suggests other options which are considered to be moderate to lower risk activities such as walking/driving tours of decorations, photo scavenger hunts, virtual costume contests and other outdoor activities that allow for masks to be worn, and proper social distancing.

As an alternative to trick or treat, the Town of Kittery will be offering an outdoor movie night at the Kittery Community Center on Friday, October 30th, beginning at 6:30 PM.  The FREE event will include a showing of Hotel Transylvania 2, outside on the Frisbee Common.  Town Departments will also be giving away goodie bags for the first 100 kids.  To register, please visit the Kittery Community Center's event page here.
