Government Street Barrier Installation - Local Traffic Only Beginning at 3:30 PM on Monday, May 10, 2021

For the last week, local and regional artist volunteers have been using their imagination and creativity to transform concrete barriers into public art. 

In order to install the new barriers in the Foreside area, Government Street will be open to local traffic only, from approximately 3:30 PM - 8:30 PM on Monday, May 10, 2021.  Drivers should expect minor delays during the afternoon hours as traffic will be rerouted away from the work area.  

Equipment operation within the confines of roadways is very difficult and safety is always a concern. Pedestrians should use caution near the work area to ensure the safety of others, as well as our staff.
