Traip Graduation Ceremony Location Change - Fort Foster to Remain Open to the Public on Friday, June 9, 2023

Due to the weather prediction for Friday, June 9, 2023, the Traip Academy Graduation Ceremony has been moved indoors to the Traip Academy Gymnasium. 

As a result of this change, Fort Foster will remain open to the public for regular operating hours on Friday, June 9, 2023.

Fort Foster will be closing at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 9, 2023 for the Traip Academy Graduation Ceremony.  Visitors are asked to vacate the park by 1:30 PM, in order for the gate to be closed at 2:00 PM.  

The park will remain closed to the public for the remainder of that day to allow for the graduation to take place.  Traip Academy graduates and their guests with a ticket will be permitted to arrive beginning at 3:30 PM.  Graduation guests are encouraged to carpool to ensure sufficient parking.
