Beat the Heat in Kittery

Need to beat the heat?  With high temperatures and humidity expected throughout the week, the Town of Kittery would like to provide residents with options to take a break from the heat Wednesday, August 3, 2022 through Saturday, August 6, 2022.

Anyone wishing to get out of the heat and cool down is welcome to visit the Kittery Community Center or the Rice Public Library.  Both facilities have air conditioning and free WiFi available for use.

Visit the Kittery Community Center at 120 Rogers Road:
 
  • Monday - Friday: 6 AM - 7 PM 
  • Saturday: 8 AM - 4 PM 
Visit the Rice Public Library at 8 Wentworth Street:
 
  • Wednesday: 12 PM - 8 PM 
  • Thursday: 12 PM - 8 PM 
  • Friday: 10 AM - 5 PM 
  • Saturday: 10 AM - 2 PM
