Absentee Ballots

Absentee Ballots are now available at Town Hall.  Voters can request an absentee ballot in writing or in person up to and including the day of the election, without specifying a reason.

  • To request an absentee ballot by phone, please call the Town Clerk’s office at 475-1313 or 475-1312.
  • To request an absentee ballot online or by mail, please visit the Secretary of State's website by clicking here.
  • To request an absentee ballot in-person, please visit the Customer Service Center at Town Hall, Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

In order to accommodate all customers seeking services at Town Hall, voters requesting an absentee ballot in person, will be asked to take the ballot with them and return it via mail or a secure drop box at Town Hall.

All pending absentee ballot applications have been processed and mailed.  If you requested an absentee ballot prior to June 12 and did not receive it in the mail, please contact the Town Clerk's Office.

Most of the return envelopes for absentee ballots have been stamped with the Town Hall address.  If you received an unaddressed return envelope, please write in:  Town of Kittery, 200 Rogers Road, Kittery, ME 03904.  Estimated postage required is $0.70.
