Tax Due Dates

The Town of Kittery operates on a fiscal year, July 1 to June 30.

Real estate and personal property taxes are billed in three installments and mailed out a minimum of 30 days prior to each due date.  Taxes are collected in arrears, covering the following period:

• Period: July 1 - October 31
  • Due: October 31
• Period: November 1 - February 28/29
  • Due: February 15
• Period: March 1 - June 30
  • Due: May 31
