Town Manager, Kendra Amaral Receives "Rising Star" Award

The Town of Kittery's Town Manager, Kendra Amaral has been named the 2018 recipient of the Rising Star award, by the Maine Town, City and County Management Association. Town Council Vice Chair, Charles Denault presented Kendra with the prestigious state-level award during a special luncheon Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Sunday River.

The Rising Star award, which was initiated by Town Councilor Gary Beers, and submitted unanimously by the Town Council, is given to a public administrator who has been in the profession for five years or less, and is designed to recognize a person who has done a particularly good job in a community.
