Absentee Ballot Application Now Available Kittery

In an effort to inform and prepare residents for the busy 2020 election year, the Town Clerk’s Office would like to present the following important voter registration & upcoming election information. 

Voters are strongly encouraged to check with the Town Clerk’s Office to verify that they are registered to vote and enrolled in the correct party.

State/Federal Elections will be held on the following dates:

  • March 3, 2020 (Presidential Primary & Referendum)
  • June 9, 2020 (Primary & Referendum)
  • November 3, 2020 (Presidential & Referendum)

Voters must be enrolled in a political party to vote in a primary or caucus.  Unenrolled or “Independent” voters may only vote on the referendum ballot.  Voters may enroll in a party at any time.  If you would like to change your party enrollment, it must be done a minimum of 16 days prior to a primary or caucus.

Upcoming Election Information:

The upcoming March 3, 2020 Presidential Primary & Special Referendum Election will be held at the Kittery Community Center Gymnasium, located at 120 Rogers Road, Kittery, ME 03904.  The polls will be open from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM.

Absentee Ballot Applications Now Available:

The Town of Kittery is now accepting applications for Absentee Ballots for the March 3, 2020 Presidential Primary & Special Referendum Election.

Absentee Ballots may be requested at the Town Clerk’s Office, over the phone at 207- 475 -1313 or online by clicking here. To fill out your request in person, please visit the Town Clerk's Office, located at 200 Rogers Road, Kittery, ME 03904.  To download and print an absentee ballot application, please click here.

Please note that Absentee Ballots are not available at this time.  As soon as the Town Clerk receives Absentee Ballots, they will be mailed out to those who have filed an application, and a notice will be posted online and at the Town Hall, announcing that they have arrived.
