The intent and purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish price agreements (labor and materials inclusive) for a custom built triple combination Fire Pumper for the Kittery Fire Department.

Each bid shall be on the forms provided and be signed by a person authorized to bind the bidder to the proposed contractual agreement.  Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bidder’s name and “Fire Pumper” on the outside. Electronic format of bids will not be accepted. Each bid shall be delivered to the place specified below and no later than 2:00 PM on August 23, 2018.

Unless otherwise specified, questions pertaining to general information regarding the project and/or interpretation of specifications during the bidding period shall be addressed only in writing. No questions will be answered in-person or via telephone. Questions shall be written and emailed to the following:

Bids that are incomplete, conditional or obscure, or which contain any additions not called for may be rejected by the Town.
