Excavation Contractor DEP Certification Training

Per Kittery Town Code Title 16.9.1.3 an excavation contractor disturbing more than one (1) cubic yard of soil in the Shoreland Overlay or Resource Protection Overlay zones is requred to be certified in erosion and sedimentation control practices by the Maine Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).  If you are still in need of certification training, DEP will be hosting the following training sessions. By attending this session you will learn about new state-of-the-art erosion control techniques and ways to save time and money on your construction projects, as well as become eligible for discounts, expedited DEP permitting and other free educational resources.
