Present: Jodi Castallo (MtA2C), Craig Wilson, Megan Kline, Tim Case, Christine Magruder
Approved minutes of January 11, 2011 meeting
Old Business
- The Town Council approved moving forward on the environmental assessment and land survey of the Gravel Pit property
- KLT will contract for the environmental assessment and survey and will bill the agreed upon costs back to the town
- Open Space Policies for Growth Management Advisory Committee
- Discussion of current Kittery of Comprehensive Plan Open Space Policies and Implementation Strategies and their appropriateness for Kittery Toward the Year 2020
- Gerry showed the maps developed as part of this process to the committee including: floodplains and wetlands, build out, zoning and comp plan
- Cluster zoning discussion
- Should Kittery require cluster and/or conservation subdivisions throughout town, and do we need to give a bonus?
- Craig suggested that there should be a checklist that developers need to go through on issues important to the town
- Is a minimum requirement for cluster development necessary?
Jodi need to leave the meeting at 5:30pm, the discussion did continue until 6pm with no notes taken.
